The University of Twente, in the city of Enschede, Netherlands, hosted a study visit and accompanying meetings of the PESHES consortium between
June 11 and 13, 2018. This visit was dedicated to presentation of current developments and results of the project, as well as to the analysis of the
higher education in Netherlands.
Main topics of the study visit were: data acquisition and multidimensional ranking of study programs and institutions, key performance indicators (KPI)
in HE, performance based evaluation: data and funding, data and judgment in Dutch quality assurance, U-Multirank for higher education institutions, as well
as the performance agreement in Netherlands.
Representatives from the Unversity of Twente shared their experiences in higher education and presented key performance indicators implemented in
Netherlands. Besides the presentations of the data collection systems in higher education in Serbia by Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia and
other valuable databases, the visit ended with disucussion panel about Serbian model for performance based evaluation in higher education system.
The partners of the PESHES project also had the opportunity to visit the campus of the University of Twente and get deeper insight into organization of
this institution.
Further analysis of the key performance indicators, based on several European models and practices, will continue at forthcoming study visit to
Polytechnic University of Valencia in September 2018.
