The University of Rijeka hosted the first study visit and accompanying coordination meeting of the PESHES consortium members on January 18 and 19, 2018
During thisvisit, colleagues from the University of Rijeka presented key performance indicators for higher education in Croatia, criteria for quality assessment of the part of the activities of HE institutions within universities, methodology of external QA audit procedure in Croatia, performance based HEI funding system in Croatia, performance based HEI funding.
Special attention was given to the analysis of contracts between Croatian HEIs and state, as well as to the report on performance
based evaluation in Republic of Croatia. This meeting was organized with the aim to discuss the optimization of the set of key performance indicators (KPI) for study programs, institutions and Serbian HE system as a whole, as well as applicability of the Croatian experience in Serbian HE system.
Further analysis of the key performance indicators, based on several European models and practices, will continue at forthcoming study visit to the Polytechnic University of Turin (Politecnico di Torino), in March 2018.
